Once my weight loss food arrives, what do I do?

Your Nutrisystem weight loss program food will arrive along with resources to get started. Your first week is designed to reboot your body. You will follow the Week 1 pamphlet in your order for this first week on the program. Please note that our Diabetes plan does not include this first week due to calorie restrictions.

Going into week two, you will follow the Quick Start Guide in your order. This guide outlines your daily weight loss meals and guides you on how to proceed with your life-changing weight loss program day to day. You can also access NuMi, our convenient all-in-one digital tracking tool, at numi.com or on the NuMi® app.

The Nutrisystem® program is very easy to follow: The first week is simple and only includes Nutrisystem food, Nutrisystem shakes, water and vegetables. In your second week, you can start to add in more grocery items such as PowerFuels, SmartCarbs and other fresh items as explained on The Leaf, and you’re ready to go.

You eat often throughout the day to help keep you feeling full between meals. In addition, you’ll have Flex Meals each week that you make on your own or enjoy out at a restaurant; your Quick Start Guide explains what to eat for each of these meals. And since all of our meals are perfectly portioned for weight loss, there are never any calories or points to count—just great-tasting diet food that’s ready to go when you are.

To make organizing your food as easy as possible, each item is color-coded: Breakfast items are labeled with blue, lunches are yellow, dinners are red and snacks are purple. We recommend starting your weight loss plan after you have organized your diet food, gone grocery shopping, and read the Nutrisystem weight loss program materials so you’re prepared and ready to go!
