Will Nutrisystem make substitutions if some of the items I order are unavailable?
Although Nutrisystem has taken every reasonable measure to have sufficient inventory to fill your food order, availability of product(s) may change without notice.* There are two reasons why a menu item may be unavailable:
1. Discontinued Menu Items: The product is retiring and will no longer be available for future orders.
2. Low Inventory Menu Items: The product is in limited supply. These items will be available again in the future. Low inventory items may be substituted in your order. In your shopping cart, you can either lower your quantity for the low inventory item or remove the item from your cart altogether.
Substitutions may occur if the product you have ordered is not available. This means that the product ordered will be replaced by a comparable product within the meal occasion. Substituted items will typically be back in stock in the future.
When making food substitutions, Nutrisystem takes great care to meet the requirements of your particular Nutrisystem® food program. We make an effort to replace the product with another item that you already have in your order. However, please note that substituted food items may contain different ingredients and allergens than those in items originally ordered. Please be sure to carefully check all individual product packages for the most updated information regarding ingredients and nutritional content for any/all Nutrisystem® food products, including new and improved items, if you have any food allergies or if you are otherwise concerned about any particular ingredients.
